DIY [# 19] ~ Videography–Sound Truck [on pause for several weeks], 04/13

I’ve done all I can for now–documented with my DSLR.

Slipped the voice over mic to the right so it does not block the laptop screen, added a shelf to the top rack, and added a red LED flashlight. Next, [maybe June] will be a parabolic microphone.

DIY [# 19] ~ Videography–Sound Truck [added voice over microphone], 04/12

Nice clean sound for adding narration to videos

Since my last update, I have placed a tripod column [outside wrapped in yellow], swapped USB cables [black for clear]. added a boom for the VO Mic, and added the voice over microphone [an AKG P220].  We are on track to have sound by mid-June. Oh! I am using a Rycote Pop Filter. It’s in front of the microphone.

I plan to add a parabolic microphone versus a shotgun microphone. I hope to use a second SS3 to move the parabolic mic in sync with the camera. Then, there will be the matter of getting sound from the truck to the 3.5mm stereo input jack on the SOLOSHOT Cameras.–wirelessly of course.

Stay tuned…

DIY [# 19] ~ Videography–Sound Truck [neated-up laptop front/made a wrist rest], 04/06

More functional and refined each day.

This is much more comfortable for my wrist. This is what I had.

Tomorrow, I hope to install a tripod column to mount 3/8″ devices.
