Movies ~ The Interview–now one of mine, 12/28

The Interview

I watched this movie in a Fayetteville theater on Christmas Day.

I did so because I believe it is important to not allow external elements to interfere with American First Amendment Rights.

It is unconscionable for me to have served this country, to have fought in a war for this country, and to know Americans died or were wounded fighting to defend American freedom in many wars and I be inactive on this matter.

For the Record: My Inguinal Hernia Repair, 09/08

This began Sunday, 09/07, around 10:00 pm as I finished a meal that was to sustain me until the following day around 3:30 pm. This was the preoperative fast–no liquids or solids until after the surgery.

My inguinal hernia was from lifting more weight than I should have on the abdominal crunch machine at the Tokay Fitness Center,  Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation.

I choose to see if I could lift “all” the weight–274 pounds. I did! I thought with no problem–well…

Gone too soon ~ Robin Williams–1951-2014

Yesterday, August 11, 2014, we lost a person who  gave millions countless moments of joy and laughter. May Robin Williams rest in peace. My prayers, thoughts, and condolences to his family and friends. Today, and the days to come, we celebrate his life.  In addition to his comedic genus, Mr. William was a cyclist–pics here.Robin Williams--Cyclist
