My 1998 Ford Windstar Cargo Van died September 1, 2015. I have been without personal transportation since then. It has been tough! As I pay off the debt for new heating and air conditioning [3 months early based on my TIME Magazine Cover Photograph], I hope I can buy my last vehicle sometime before the end of March 2016.
I’ll even be able to drive to Utah to pick up Fargo, my quadracycle.
The Transit Connect is a cargo van [as was the Windstar] which works best for my cycling and work around home. I’ll even be able to drive to Utah to pick up Fargo, my quadricycle. I shipped it back to Utah Trikes following a breakdown in Connecticut during a tour that was to go from Maine to Florida–that’s another story…
Anyway, it will be GREAT to have my own transportation again. I appreciate Olivia’s help and the use of her SUV, from time-to-time, as well as help from other friends–Steve, Ellen, Michael, & Pauline.
We hope for a change soon. I need to get back to the gym and do so many other things…
At one point, as many a 7 cycles, now 3 + an ElliptiGO.
I just happened to have a perfect-fit [28.5″x72″] piece of Lexan under the house. It remains from Fargo I
. BTW, Fargo II
is still at Utah Trikes.

A week ago, I shipped the remainder of my Fargo parts to Ashley Guy at Utah Trikes. Soon, I hope to share the transition of this quad into Fargo II. I know it will be exciting to see what Ashley will do the his first touring quadricycle.
The time has finally come for the remaining parts of Fargo to head west to Payson, Utah–Utah Trikes, and the innovation of Ashley Guy.
I shipped the failed rear-end almost 2 years ago–07/02.
Ashley will soon transform Fargo into Fargo II.
I plan to go to Payson to pick it up and drive it back to North Carolina. I guess it would be interesting to ride it back. That, I’ll have to think about.
I know many of you are interested in what is to become of this quad. Please stay tuned…
I now await an appointment at a Greensboro, North Carolina Bicycle Shop for my bicycle mechanic to pack it for me. He relocated from Fayetteville to Greensboro. I trust him and know he will do it right.
Added: I shipped yesterday. I decided it is more important to get Fargo to Ashley. I said I’d ship mid April. I try to be a person of my word. –jim
