DIY [#38] ~ We Have Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Lift-Off & Touch-Down, 01/05

Found the center-of-gravity [sweet spot]. I can now wash and wax the roof again! Yeah!!!

I took much longer than I expected–about 2 hours [link after link adjustment]. Future adjustment for items added will be made by moving the eye bolts. I only expect to add two more flood cubes [and the hardware to hold them] to the front of the platform. The Landing Stand was flawless–some ideas work perfectly.

  1. I plan to use the chain versus steel cable as originally planned. Adjustments were tedious and time-consuming–plus I worked in temps in the lower 20s. This works sufficiently well, that I must leave it alone.
