Could it all be in a name?

The lead photograph [featured] in this set of 11 has 341 views [2 favorites]. It is not unusual that the first photo in a set has more views that others, but not hundreds more! I choose to name this collage “nipple.” Might that be a reason??? I like the composition…149064655097567

  1. I do believe names/titles can make or break an article/ad/post/etc. Even the right wording in commercials can make or break…That’s the hardest part for me to name my how-to’s and DIY’s that I do. I want it to reach a large number of readers. I am eventually moving this blog from wordpress to square space so that everyone can comment. It’s awesome to see your love of photography grow. One day I will be caught up with my project list that I will be able to pick up something that I “LOVE” and have fun doing it. Best to you!

    1. I agree! Thank you, Koko for your comments. I see that over-and-over with my post and give thought to the naming i select. In this post, I rhetorically present my case. Although naming is important, I give thought to how the name will be received. I have watch the views on this pic grow. Today, is the day to share.

I look forward to seeing more of your photography. I’ll take a look at Squarespace–just did. What do you like better?

      Best & Warm Regards!!!

      1. I haven’t used Squarespace yet, but I will soon. I think I might make my debut into that realm when I redo my kitchen cabinets. I will keep ya posted. You can sell things on Squarespace or have the advertisements you choose on there (if that’s what you are into) and it seems more user friendly to those that aren’t totally technically savvy with computer programming. It’s like 8 bucks a month to have them host your site, but if you sell things it changes to about 16 a month. Their prices have changed, but it’s about that. I also like their layouts and again, love how user friendly it is. Back to the names…I try to use names that will help someone looking for the info I am posting to find it easier. Take care James. 🙂
