I guess 2 out of 3 is not bad, unless you use an additional 3 hours installing iOS10 on 1 phone.
That is what happened to me.
The graphic on the right was my “friend” for nearly 2.5 hours Tuesday afternoon [from about 2:10 – 4:20 pm EDT].
Thanks to Terri Clevenger, AppleCare iOS & Mac Senior Advisor, and some luck, I recovered and went on to complete the installation.
I learned that others had this problem as well. Apple said:
The issue has been “quickly resolved” and impacted a small number of users during the first hour of availability. In the meantime, if you haven’t done so already, you should back up your iPhone before downloading iOS 10.

Let’s not forget there’s a new Apple Watch OS.
I still have my original Apple Watch. The Series 2 looks interesting.
As it stands, I will update my iPhone 6 Plus & 6S Plus to the new iOS ~ 1:00 pm EDT, 09/13.
I think it’s always exciting [hopefully uneventful] to update an operating system to the latest release. Today, I will have that experience with two of my iPhones. When the 7 Plus arrives, I’ll have 3 iPhones running iOS 10. Its features are robust.
