Photography ~ Avocado–The Grow Light’s Worth, 10/26

Okay, there are 6 leaves that are larger at the bottom of the stalk. They grew outside in natural light. I have 1 leaf just above them that is near the same shade of green, but not as large as the bigger brownish ones. That leaf was formed and began to grow under my temporary light [4 CF bulbs]. The brownish leaves [7 visible at the top] have grown under the LED grow light.

I conclude the lighting makes a difference. To my knowledge, watering and minor feeding [a capful or so of fish fertilizer] has been constant. The variable is lighting. I have not changed its height above the plant. If I can continue this, I hope to have a nice plant in a year or so. Wish me luck & stay tuned…

    1. Thanks Koko! Not in particular. I give a link to the light I have. I think they are pricey. I bought mine at I have the 150 watt LED lamp. More likely, any grow light or a good south window will do. I can see direct and immediate results and though I should share that. Best…
