Veterans Day ~ Armistice Day ~ Remembrance Day

Thank you for your service and to those who made the supreme sacrifice, thank you as well. History tells us at the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month in 1918 hostilities on the Western Front ceased and World War I came to an end–Armistice Day and Remembrance Day.

In 1954 the United States changed the commemoration to Veterans Day to honor all veterans of all wars. Today, in this country we recognize the service of our veterans. Again, thank you for that service! Honor to those who celebrate today as Remembrance Day.
