2013, July 20 ~ Sansevieria Trifasciata [Mother-in-Law’s Tongue] ~ In full bloom…

Now a week later and very fragrant. These flowers have the sweetest smell. I adore the fragrance as it greets me when I open the door to venture into the back yard. Ants love it as well. The blooms last about a day, with replenishing blossoms near the end of the day. I look forward to another year of bloom, when and if it happens again. The Sansevieria Trifasciata seldom, if ever, blooms. Conditions have to be right. I am blessed to have this experience with a plant I have had for near 10 years. [see more in this set]
