A Green Mile

Go Green With Tour of Discovery. $10.00 will purchase your green wristband and sponsor a mile. With your purchase, your name will be added to our Sponsors’ Page of Green Miles. Your contributions help Mr. Giraldo bring his story to the students who will be tracking his progress and learning from his example.
Mile 85 – James Artis

You may have been following Mr. Giraldo the last 8 days as he has ridden his trike from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to the eastern edges of the state. Doing so has cost, and if you like, you may want to sponsor a "Green" mile for Mr. Giraldo. Click on the image above [or link here] to be taken to his website where you can join a growing list of Green Mile Sponsors.

See SPOT move…

Mr. Giraldo should be flying “wildly” downhill in just a bit, having rolled out about 8:17 a.m. PDT. I expect to see long distances between GPS data points [Password=”Student”]. The photo above, from Carson Spur going toward Kirkwood, shows the downhill grade he will be riding soon. This is the payoff for the climb.

I’m wondering when this applies???

Daily Updates

Mr. Giraldo has now ridden 7-consecutive days. Above, he states he plans the 7th day as a day of rest. I think he will ride today [Day8] and get to lodging where he has Internet access to upload pictures and communicate with his followers.

We should know around 11:00 a.m. EDT. Anyway, I wish him the best.
