The Silver Comet Trail [above] is located 13 miles northwest of Atlanta, Georgia. It’s free of charge, and travels west through Cobb, Paulding, and Polk counties. This quiet, non-motorized trail is for walkers, hikers, bicyclists, rollerbladers, horses, dog walkers, and is wheelchair accessible.
The Chief Ladiga Trail [below ~ loads a PDF ~ slow] is Alabama’s premier rail-trail. It is located in Cleburne and Calhoun counties, in east-central Alabama. The smooth asphalt surface travels through the Tallegeda National Forest, and connects to Georgia’s Silver Comet Trail to the east (near Cedartown and Esom Hill).

Jennifer Lang has joined ‘BentRiders Online [BROL]! Made my day!!! It is interesting the path that life’s event can take. It was not my motive to inspire a BROL membership [although I’m very happy], but to acknowledge a cyclist I admire.
Like Jennifer earlier, Mike also asked to be my Facebook friend. I accepted of course. As you see, he also rides a recumbent bike. This one is a short wheel base high-racer from RANS ~ a Force 5. Mike’s strength as a rider shows in this photograph.
Because I perceive him to be a strong, aggressive rider [the kind I want to be when I grow up], I feature him.
Mike is a Navy Diver. Given my knowledge of history, that is also IMPRESSIVE!
Like many others, Mike has a blog. Within that blog you will see Mike’s family and friends.
