Cyclemeter ~ Test, 07/29 2

Phone-Cyclemeter Cyclemeter is an IPhone App. Given Bryan Ball’s review, I decided to check it out. As I see it it is very basic. That is, time, distance, and mapping. Well, there is elevation, calories burned, and a calendar to show your activities. What’s special is the social sharing [if you like]—auto Facebook & Twitter. Certainly, your friends can know where you were and what you did. Oh yes, there are voice prompts and I like those. The app is fine with me. BTW, there are more features. I’ve just listed what “pops” to me.

CRW_1539.CRWAfter the ride. Maria plans to ride to break her 100-mile record [100 Mile, 4 hr 47 min 56 sec, 4:47:56, 20.84 mph] this fall.

Today, on the new Cruzbike Vendetta, Maria rode [having only ridden the bike once before] the course in about 51 minutes, with an average speed of 23.2 mph.

I say she will reset her ’09 record. I hope to cover the event. Congratulations Maria!

I’ll have video up later today of the ride.
