Size does matter, as least Gear-Inches Reply
On today’s check ride, I climbed hills that I have ridden before, but with less mashing. The low of 20 gear inches versus 25GI allows me to pedal at a higher RPM [almost spinning]. The climb still works the quads. So, the additional 5″ seems to make a difference. I’ll know after this ride if I need to make other adjustments [Q-rings, shorter cranks, or a even lower granny gear [currently 26t].
