Home ~ USA Flag, with night illumination 1

CRW_2673.CRW

Properly flying the flag of the United States of America at night requires that it be illuminated [Flag Code].

  • Ordinarily it should be displayed only between sunrise and sunset, although the Flag Code permits night time display "when a patriotic effect is desired." Similarly, the flag should be displayed only when the weather is fair, except when an all weather flag is displayed. (By presidential proclamation and law, the flag is displayed continuously at certain honored locations such as the United States Marine Corps Memorial in Arlington and Lexington Green.)
  • It should be illuminated if displayed at night.
  • I love the look of my flag in my backyard, day or night. I am proud to have served this country and to have fought for the freedoms we hold dear.

I have several photographs of my flag in this blog [12/18/2010 & 1/12/2011].

Home ~ My Bike Room ~ My Game Room Reply

721 Chadwick5Hard to believe it was almost 3 years ago that I took these pictures.

I now have the Cathouse and cycling stuff in my utility room.

My “Bike Room” has evolved [given the SB party I’m hosting] to include the ability to seat additional guest and to allow them to play cards [and other games].

I will indeed use this table to assemble jigsaw puzzles.

There is more to do, but now sufficient for 02/06.

You see Faye, my RANS Citi Crank Forward has a place inside, where the Cats & my road bike are “outside.”

BTW, the painting, etc. continue in prep for the Artis Party.

Home ~ My Kitchen [ready for painting] Reply

721 Chadwick3Thanks to the expert carpentry work by Mr. Norbert Mason—I call him a master, the woodwork is complete for the kitchen and is now prepared for my brother-in-law painter—Tim Matthews, who begins his work Monday.

Left are a few snaps of the master’s work.

The last two days the crew is Norbert and Nathan. Sharry is in the office.

Tomorrow, they are back to refinish my hallway.

    Thanks guys!

In case you missed it, here is my report on Mason Tile & Construction.

While the Mason crew is busy inside, I continued to work outdoors and put the final touches on the invitations for our Super Bowl XLV Party—”The Artis Party.”

I may have outdoor pics later this week and will mail the invitations January 1st.

BioDrone lighting and paint mod by AR.Drone Flyers’ Techcapsule 3

Welcome to AR.Drone Flyers. Techcapsule [Aziz] may be new there, but certainly not to making modifications to projects; and, in this case presenting a very sweet AR.Drone. Read for yourself. Here are several of his pictures. He is an excellent photographer as well. If you are interested, Tech will have an online store where you can buy the mod you want. The best to him and his projects. Thanks for permission to post your pictures here. –jim
