This in more for planning to ensure the modified cage accommodates my lighting and supports the solar panels and the use of fabric for the top can be maximized. The intent here is to get the greatest weight reduction by using a smaller amount and thinnest Lexan we can. Again, I only see Lexan for the windshield and maybe a piece the size of the solar panels [22 5/16" x 38 1/2"] to support their weight. If fabric can be used here, all the better.

Except for the SPOT mounting location, the trike/quad is without electronic devices. I had those mounted on the cage and liked the positions. My plan is to duplicate what I used on tour. I plan to place switches for the DiNotte 400L Amber Daytime Lights & Tail Light and the 1200L Headlight on the cage front cross member where my Garmin Nuvi 760 & iPhone were located for the tour.
