Using Microsoft’s Windows Live Excel Web App [more], I have embedded the spreadsheet I use to record information on the egg laying of my chicks. I had to make some modifications [no data validations or comments and no freeze panels]. I expect increased features as web sharing of Excel workbooks matures. I have other data sheets in my workbook to track egg gifts, sales, expenses, and so forth. I’ve not included those for privacy reasons.
My updates show, real-time. You can filter and sort data to see what you are interested in. Overtime, I’ll be looking for trends, as predictors. I’m a data hound and love spreadsheets and the use of formulas to summarize that data. I trust you will find this presentation interesting and useful.
It is another dimension of technology that I like to include in this blog. I’ve embedded spreadsheets before. I think this is closer to what I see in my app, Excel 2010, that others I’ve presented.
