I will tell you that living on a fixed income is a REAL challenge. Particularly, with the many projects I work on. Times have been hard. Well, some relief seems to be in sight.
My photography was noticed by the employer of a company looking for freelance photographers in my area. Thereby, I have been offered the opportunity to shoot their lodging the Fayetteville area. I am blessed and fortunate to have this come my way at this time.
Stay tuned…
I received this a few days ago:
Hi there, I can sense you have great eye for architecture….
Of course, I responded with interest.

…and yesterday:
1. Selection process and requirements
Fortunately, my DSLR exceeds the requirement and I have all the other items I need to take pictures with that camera. I actually have a bit more. The great portfolio part above is good. You never know when you are uploading pictures. I shoot to record my work. Sometimes, I normally frame my shots for a particular artistic effect. Now the payoff in opportunity. I am thankful.

That’s fantastic Jim. I can’t wait to hear some of your stories about your professional photography experience. Names can be changed to protect the guilty!
Wayne
Thank you Wayne. I look forward to the work. I’ve always enjoyed photography, We’ll see what stories there are in Gotham City. –jim
Congrats!
Nothing finer than turning an avocation into a vocation…. would likeshare ideas on how you develop your fixed income..
Especially when one seeks you, versus the normal “find a job routine.” Not clear on the fixed income part. I have my Army retired pay and social Security, For the year, that amount does not change, regardless of “how good I am.” Maybe there will be a COLA or maybe not. If food, gas, etc, increase, all you have is your retired income. I’m not blessed with a stock portfolio to complement my earnings. The young years where for the household and kids. I began as a lieutenant make $321.00 per month before taxes.

Thanks!
Wow…that’s fantastic! Your work is deserving of notice. I’m sure you will enjoy this opportunity.
I’m way behind on your blog and what’s been going on. You’ve been active in my absence.
Hi Roger,
Good to read your comment. Thanks! I continue to develop the water part of my urban farm. I call it Cedar Works. It will include water and electricity, both solar and wind power. I’m a bit behind on water for April planting. You will get caught up in a few days. I look forward to your comments. Take care. –jim
my friend the famous photograher! How great for you James. These kind of surprises are the best.
