I think it is great that MaxAmps is selling a pack SPECIFIC to the AR Drone now. I bought 2 of these before they were setup to sell for the AR Drone. I have been very happy with the purchase. I am averaging about 3-4 min more run time but what is more important, I am able to charge these packs SAFELY with my RC LiPo charger to a full balanced capacity within 15-20 min. !!! They run cooler also. They are a perfect fit (matter of fact a tiny bit shorter) and a tad lighter than the original factory packs. Also with the current cable setup on this pack, it can be charged with the factory charger and no need to modify any cables on the AR Drone. Highly recommend this.

    Guys some concerns have been brought up about using our packs in the drone. Yes they will work with no issues. Parrot claimed that the stock pack had internal low voltage protection built in and it’s been proven with the use of our packs that the voltage cut off is built into the drone and not the pack. The cut off voltage is roughly 10.0 volts leaving packs with a safe 1.0 volt of protection from being over discharged. There was also talk the our packs could not be safely charged with the stock charger. That is also false. We have tested this several times and the stock charger works just fine with our packs it just takes a bit longer to charge the 1300 mAh pack over the stock 1000 mAh pack. Can you tell me the difference in using the charger that came with the Drone to charge your 1300mAH LiPo Battery vs. using one of the chargers that you sell on your site? would getting a charger off your site just reduce the charge time? will the one that came with the drone still charge your maxamp 1300mAH LiPo Battery?
