Vendetta
Of course, the Vendetta is the Cruzbike Vendetta ridden by Maria Parker Monday, 07/19, around the White Oak, North Carolina Loop where she set 3 records riding her “Yellow Bike” a Cruzbike Silvio. She did that 10/10/09.
Today, her performance was impressive! Watch for the resetting of records this fall. I will, and I hope to be there to cover it.

But, this is not about past records or records to come. This is a movie [albeit, rudimentary from a phone (an iPhone 4) no less] about Maria Parker and her ride on John Tolhurst’s newest Cruzbike creation—The Vendetta.

  1. Well, I have a video up.

    I had to use YouTube because of a file transfer problem between iPhone & my PC for .MOV files. Once resolved the movie will be of much higher quality. I’ll have a second video later–probably tomorrow, unless I resolve the file transfer problem soon. I’m working to resolve so we can all see the iPhone 4 HD video.

  3. Awesome coverage as usual Jim!!! I had seen one Vendetta photo earlier on the dealers forum, but your close-up shot helped answer a few questions.

    Love the sharp video quality also. I am on the waiting list for the iPhone 4…most impressive. Did you edit the vid on the phone also as they did in the Apple Keynote i4 intro?

      Your daughter has really grown fast–quite a young lady she is, and so cute. Thanks for sharing her with all of us.

      The coverage was fun as usual. The Parkers are very nice and meeting John was a pleasure. Glad you got info you wanted from my pictures. I was trying to stay away from “certain” areas. Maybe one day I can concentrate of the new, special things John has done.The iPhone 4 worked well. The strange white plastic bag has a USB Li-Ion battery in it. I just picked it up from the floor of the van. My planning was not quite detailed enough, I used iMovie to edit the vid on the phone. I missed the Apple Keynote i4 intro, but presume it is the same. I needed to have ended the vid was she crossed the finish-line. The title I used there carries on to other vid I captured. iMovie can stand lots of improvement. It is 1st generation. Our video future is bright. I hope to do really special thing with my OWLE Bubo and new offerings for it and the 4.
