I am slowly making modifications and preparations on my ’08 Rans Stratus. My interest is piqued from the images of your last two entries. Some of your light-mounting hardware, arms etc are from terracycle (maybe on one of your older cycles). Also, the double-screw mounts are of interest where you incorporate the PVC. Where are you purchasing double-screw mounts?
Are the single-screw black ones above made of plastic or aluminum?
Thanks,
The “swell-nuts” are from Terracycle. They are used to mount fairings. I have lots from my Lexan mounting to the cage for Fargo. For the single screw mount, are your referring to the 1200L mounting. If so, it is a Cateye plastic mount that grips the pipe. The front 400L bracket that fits around the pipe, is aluminum with a Cateys bracket to hold the 400L and then a short PVC, with 2 swell nuts and thumb screws to finish it off. Dan, glad my work gives you ideras. –jim
