Quad front lighting [left front] Okay, I hope you have viewed my earlier article [Lighting 1] where i describe the first modifications I have made to my quadricycle lighting system by adding brake lights and lights for turn signals. The presentation was for the rear lighting. I wondered how I would do the front. Now you know!

I used PVC & heat shrink tubing as before. I also used the end pieces and thumb screw for a more finished look as i did for the rear lights. I will have matching quad-lighting. The front turn-signal will be angled up a bit more.

    I was looking at the photos and thinking “Hmmm, I don’t recognize that mount” and then it hit me- that’s the Quad mid drive mount we make for Utah Trikes!

    Very clever adaptation of something that was never intended for anything like that. Looks like it works well, though!

    The Idler mounts would work for lots of things like that too. We make them in all the larger sizes, but also in 0.75″ (for the Xtracycle Free Radical) and 1.125″ (for the Big Dummy). We’ve thought about making them in 0.875, 1.0, and 1.25″ sizes, too. Then we’d have everything from 0.75″ to 60mm covered.
