Interesting project! I’d love to know what speeds he attained and how quickly he could stop. It looked like the solar panels were giving pretty good shade except on the legs.

I’ll try to get speed info for us. I’ve been reading about the Pterosail for several years now. it is good to see a ride across the USA. I’ll be following. Yep, on the panels. They are the same type I’m using–made in Iowa.

Same here. You’d think brakes would have to be applied. I’m waiting for their next report. They were to have sailed into Phoenix yesterday.
