Dear Friends,
Since last year, I have enjoyed the committed support Jim Artis has offered Tour of Discovery. Through his efforts many in the recumbent cycling community became aware of the tour’s existence. His coverage of my 2009 continental crossing disseminated the story for the good of the many. Among these were my students and their families. We all benefited from his detailed comments and rich analysis. I am very appreciative of what he has done and continues to do.

A reflective Fargo [w/o reflective “tape”] 2

This is what a driver should see if I were to have no lights on. Of course, that will not be the case. I am not a user of reflective tape, per se. There are two disc of retro-reflective tape, on the storage tube caps, near the top, at the rear of the quad. In this case, the reflective tires and graphics should ease side visibility, then there is the trailer that has its lighting. This should all work very well.
Fargo Setup Progress Report #4, 06/09 6
I’m now about 93% complete with setup. Turning the lights on today was like a rocket ship being placed on internal power. The solar work done in February paid off. I’m going to call today another good day!!! BTW, do I have pictures.
