Catbike Masashi ~ BROL Review 2

Bryan Ball, ‘Bentrider Online Managing Editor, has published his review of the new offering from Big Cat HPV, LLC, the makers of Catrikes and now, their first Catbike—the Musashi.

Bryan says:

The Musashi is ostensibly “just” another lowracer but it does have a lot of very unique features. It’s pretty hard to find a lowracer with a full mesh seat. It’s also very difficult to find a lowracer this far shy of 30 pounds for anything near this price. And the Musashi is 100% made and designed in the United States. When I think of where the Musashi fits into the market place, I look at it as one of the best fast double century/brevet bikes in the world. It’s quick, comfortable and it’s handling shouldn’t surprise you when you’re bleary eyed at two AM in the middle of nowhere.

Ride for the Republic ~ My maps are in Reply

CRW_1298.CRWMy set of 7 Adventure Cycling Maps for their Atlantic Coast Route which Rafael [Mr. Giraldo] and I will take for the Ride for the Republic are in. They will be used along with the itinerary he gave us a few days ago.

Please see Rafael’s history notes for the tour if you have not already done so.

Now to find a preferred map case for use with a “trike” ~ the front-end of a quadricycle. I’m open to suggestions.

Thanks!

Something new to try~FiveFingers KSO Trek 2

Vibram FiveFingers KSO Trek

I have a pair of these coming in today. I’ve done lots of reading and tried a pair KSO locally for fit. I’ll let you know how they work for me. I did have some difficulty getting my toesies into the little “fingers.”  My reading is that problem goes away after wearing for a while. I shall see…
