What looked like a nice compact and light tent is just too compact for me. Maybe it could have worked. I felt too confined and want to ensure I’m able to sleep after a day of riding. So, back this one goes to Amazon.com. Another tent [Eureka Apex 2XT Adventure 7' 5" by 4' 11" Two-Person Tent] arrives tomorrow, 03/31.

Looks like you will have plenty of room in this one. I take it there may be a small weight penalty for upsizing. Am I correct in recalling a little over 2 lbs for the previous tent and 5 lbs for this one?

Yes on the weather. We are to be in the high 80′s Thursday & Friday.
You are correct on the tent weights [5lbs 12ozs for the replacement tent]. I’m still working my yellow & black. From all my reading, this will work. Thanks Zeke! –jim
