Looks like you picked out some quality materials and kept the weight down. Did you note the warning about which repair kit to cart along for the sleeping pad? I like the tent a lot. Will you be packing these items on the trailer or on Fargo?
Yes Zeke, I did read the warning in reviews, but have not ordered on yet. My closest REI is in Cary–near Raleigh. I hope to get to the store in May and will get a kit and some shoes. My hope it that the camping items will fit in the shipping tubes on Fargo. I have lots of options. My principal focus was function and weight. I even paid Amazon $4 to get the tent today. I’ll soon be doing a bit of backyard camping. –jim
Yep! That’s me. You should see the Pillsbury Flour Sack that is a part of the lining. My grandmother was born in 1880 and had many items from her mother and grandmother. Don’t faint on me now…
You know the flour sack thing almost put me over the edge. That a guy even knows why that is so awesome…is rare indeed. You’re a pretty cool dude, Jim. Now there is a pic that I’d love to see someday…hint hint. Maybe, just maybe after the Republic ride is done and you have a boring evening ahead, you might find a spare moment to send a friend a pic? mmmmm?
For all–I tried the tent twice today. It is too small for me. I have a larger one–don’t want to use it–something in between. Back to the drawing board. Oh well…
Ah, sorry to hear about the tent. Will you be able to return it for a refund? We had a pretty trip down to Salisbury to see our neice play softball yesterday. We’ve got rain and wind today at home so no riding. It is supposed to last through tomorrow and turn nice again on Tuesday.
Me too. I can return it; although, I do not look forward to repacking. I may keep it for cargo storage. I think it is perfect for that. I.m still looking and reading about other tents. Thanks & take care. Stay dry. –jim

Good morning,
Looks like you picked out some quality materials and kept the weight down. Did you note the warning about which repair kit to cart along for the sleeping pad? I like the tent a lot. Will you be packing these items on the trailer or on Fargo?

Those are a far cry from Grammas quilts
You are right, I have some of those from the 1800s. I’m hoping my tent is large enough. I shall see…
A man with a quilt that has history…I feel faint.
