Rafael Giraldo & I are to depart Bar Harbor, Maine, June 12, 2010, on a Ride for the Republic that will take us through Maine, the thirteen original states, the District of Columbia, and Florida.

I chose the four flags you see on my trailer because they best represent me and my thoughts about the Ride for the Republic, 2010 with Rafael.
First, the Nation as we know it today—The United States Flag; then the Nation as it was born—Thirteen States—The Betsy Ross Flag; next, I am a son of the south—North Carolina; and finally, having served 24 years on active duty in the United States Army, I am "Retired Army" Lieutenant Colonel, Infantry–RANGER!
The flags are 12" tall and 18" wide. I’m trusting they will survive the tour. If not, I’ll replace them, so they stand tall as symbols of their ideas.
