Fargo Setup ~ Mounting the Light Bars

You may have noted a more robust front light bar [3/4" versus 1/2" PVC Pipe and larger chair tips.] That is by design—looks cool too. There is more weight on the front bar, plus I hope to CRW_0511.CRW easily push the DiNotte 1200L control switch. It is the only one I want access to as I ride. I hope Ashley Guy can help me here. I want access to the switch, yet avoid a rain entry point because of the attachment or  a portal to be able to push the power switch for on/off; steady light levels; or flash rate.

I chose this height to ensure front and rear visibility. Of course, the trailer has its own set of lights [and power] [no wires between the quad & trailer] that will "paint the ground" red. Then, there are the two flag pole lights. This position for the front lights, gets them from behind the fairing, yet places them where I can control the Tier 1 light. The other factor [IMO] is: They will simply look way cool there [both front & rear].

You may also note the Tier 2 & Tier 3 lights, front & rear, have reflectors built it. In addition the Tier 3 rear light has a stand-light [built in capacitor] function that will keep the light burning during momentary stops. Again, I ‘m not expecting to use Tier 3 ["emergency'] lighting.

Okay readers, what are your thoughts???

Thanks!

Jim
