A Trailer for Fargo ~ DIY ~ 02/26 Plan Reply

I think I’ll have a wrap on Step Five and will publish the Step Five Article and post pictures showing the trailer as of 02/26. At 5:30 p.m. EST today, I picked up my yellow heat-shrink-tubing and have spent up to 9:45 p.m. covering the flag and fender mounts. I had to separate them in the middle because the tubing would not make the 90-degree bend. They will now be mounted with a left and right side. Given that, I have to pick up 4 more mounting clamps and 4 end plugs.

Yesterday, I added dedicated tail light solar panels and a special mount for them. Tomorrow, I’ll take pictures of that mount.

mliteAs I see it, the trailer is complete up to the point I receive the quad and install the hitch and put on graphics and flags. BTW, I ordered 2 flag pole lights [Wandertec mLite] for the trailer. I’ll have to see how it compares to other flag pole lights I have used. At any rate, The surface will be lit by the DiNotte Tail Lights and the point about 6 1/2 feet into the air lit by the mLites. This should give sufficient early warning for approaching vehicles, even if the trailer is hidden my the ground. Plus, we also have the quad tail lights.
