My Panasonic Electric Works Dual Coil Latching Relay arrived today. I completed most of the wiring and like magic—the lights go on and off as I press the remote [doorbell] switches. I need to pick us a few more 9-volt snap connectors [they are convenient] from Radio Shack and this part of the project will have a wrap. Thanks Mt_Top [a.k.a. Russell].

I have decided to use a dedicated solar charger [6-volt 150mAh] for each of the lights battery packs [4-AA 2500mAh Ni-MH batteries].  I expect the charging to take all day in full sun. That will be the only task or the panel.

I have constructed a unique mounting platform for the 2 panels which are 5"x6" and weigh .8oz. I’m waiting for a few items to come in and I’ll give you pictures—soon, I hope.
