Ride one of these Catrike w/a bigger wheel Reply

Here they are: Custom Catrike Wheel Extension Kits (26-inch/700 conversion) from Utah Trikes. Now with a slightly different design and includes disc brake mount, black anodization and laser engraving.

How about a Catrike Villager, with a 26" rear wheel [other offerings after "read more"].

Now you say: Who may want one of these? UTC says:

Well, let’s suppose that you bought a Catrike Road a few years ago and then the Expedition came out. Well, you really like the Expedition with its longer wheelbase and larger rear tire, but you have a lot invested in your trike. Up until now your only choice has been to sell the road (or give it to your significant other) and then buy an Expedition for yourself. While there is nothing wrong with that (after all, we are more than happy to sell you an Expedition) it may not be in your budget.

After

Added covers to the base of the flag-shafts [left photo] to stop water from getting into the mounts. I like this better than drain holes. The covers are sealed and do not leak water. Therefore, water cannot get in. BTW, I’m using table leg ends from Lowes [4 in a pack]. I use the 2 without holes, sans flags.

Before

This fender won't acidently rub on the tire while I riding

Added fender supports [a small screw & nut through 1/2" rubber hose, with an end cap] at the rear of each fender [just in case the fender were to droop and make contact with the tire]. With these, it cannot happen. The fender rotates out to open the box—very functional for me.

Fender support, just in case...

Fashioned the receiver box for the tail light switch discussed above. It goes into the shipping tube.

Finished the tongue entry point into the shipping tube cap using a cut rubber grommet. It looks good. The Planet Bike mud guard hides the bolt that connects the rack to the tongue.  I secured it with 2 zip-ties and Silicon above the bolt.
