A Trailer for Fargo ~ DIY ~ [Step Four Pics] Reply

Following are key trailer features added in this step:

The Tube... The Tube cutout The Tube adapted for DiNotte batteries

I love the look the shipping tube gives the trailer. I’ll use these on the quad also. I arrived at their use in my initial quad planning.

Hide the ugliness. I’ll be off to Lowes for a large rubber grommet to tidy up my cutout above the tongue

Just above the orange bar, two wires go into the tube. Those are wires for the DiNotte Tail Lights. The AA battery pack will be inside the tube as will the remote switch receiver & relay that I am working on.

A Trailer for Fargo ~ DIY ~ [Step Four] Reply

This step includes: installation of mounts for the fenders & flags, as well as the fenders and flag staffs; installation of the DiNotte 140L Tail Lights; installation of the shipping tube; and some clean-up and finishing. The mounting tubes are still to be covered with yellow heat-shrink-tubing. We got to this point by completing these tasks:

I rushed to get pictures today. I still have some trimming and cleanup for this step. I am very pleased with the finished the shipping tube gives the trailer and its out-of-the-weather storage. Most of my tidy work will focus on the tube. I have completed my flickr photo upload. There are 26 new uploads to view [a few from earlier this week].
