I worked on several items for the trailer today:
- Fender selection & mount [I won't likely have them until late next week.]
- Flag mount installed
- Decided to use a wireless remote switch to turn the trailer lights on/off. This will be a wireless doorbell hack. Picked up the doorbell. I now need a relay and a few other electronic items. this is in response to a question about turning the lights on/off from BROL Member Mt_Top [Russell].
- I’ll place the DiNotte Taillights just outboard of where I showed them before. They will be on a part of my flag mount.
- Yesterday, I picked up my flashlight following the sandblasting of my name on it.
- Yesterday, I also added a nifty tongue stand. It’s really functional.
- I also await the arrival of the 2 shipping tubes I ordered.
If I can get to my LBS [we have snow—4"-6" forecast] and pick up flags, I’ll try for pictures tomorrow. If I can get the correct relay, I’ll work on the remote switch hack. I will not post Step Four until I have more accomplished than I am commenting on now. I think the trailer looks even more refined.
