…and, the winner is: Coffee Tin 2

That is the winning font, selected by votes from viewers of this blog. Sixty-six [66]individuals voted, 29 (44%) of them for this font to be used to show the quad’s name—Fargo on a graphic, which is under design by El Cargonista, a graphic artist I know from Flickr.

Tomorrow, I plan to begin a series of articles on the first setup phase—power for the quad’s electrics. If you are technically inclined, I think you will be intrigued by what I have done.

Thanks!

Jim

P.S. The first article [Quad Power, etc. Setup ~ 02/03] is now up.

  1. I’ll be looking forward to the new posts. It will give me some good reading during our NEXT WINTER STORM slated to arrive on Friday with snow beginning on Saturday… I didn’t get to ride yesterday but instead got my workout by helping the wife of our neighbor shovel slush/snow off our road. She has been stuck on the mountain since last Friday with a house full of kids. Her husband had to leave town for work on Sunday (I think). She decided to drive her van down the mountain to see if she could get her kids to school today if school resumed. Unfortunately, her front wheel drive “light in the rear end” van couldn’t get back UP the mountain so we shoveled a few yards at a time and managed to get her to our house where I suggested she just park her vehicle and walk her kids down this morning. Our road is a single lane so you can’t just leave a vehicle without blocking the other two households. There are only 3 of us on the mountain and we and the other neighbor have 4 wheel drive so it isn’t too much of an issue for us. I certainly feel the workout in my shoulders, arms, and lower back this morning!

    • Hi Zeke,

Thanks! The best with the next round of snow. It is to be a rain event for us. Jn the Raleigh area, maybe beginning & ending as snow. I’m happy to give you reading material while you are holed up. I just picked up another battery and have a few adjustments to make. Stay tuned…
