Some things happen fast ~ Fargo Canopy Reply

Given events [military term--OBE (overcome by events)], I have ceased separate canopy development for Fargo. We are back to Ashley & Utah Trikes. Thanks to all for their input.

Please meet Rich. He has agreed to join the team and help me by designing and making the canopy for Fargo. I started a new BROL thread which has a detailed description of what I’m trying to achieve. Rich and I discussed the project yesterday. I’m excited about what he brings to the project. Watch the thread for his ideas. [Insert pictures here—maybe soon]. –jim

SON Hub  Dynamo information & location decision.

Are the specs in the BROL thread sufficient?

Floor

Follow–up to my emails. It does not have to bare 200#. About 50# should be enough. Can there be a flat area to the rear of the seat for vertical tubes? Open in front of cross arm?

Side curtains

Attach to floor. You have done well w/o my help. Drive on!

Fenders

Have you determined how rear fenders  will mount? What are the 2 brackets near the front wheels for—fenders?

Seat [pivoting]

Can you reinforce enough for me?

Lighting

My planned locations—top-most cage cross-members, front & rear

Mirror

Rearview–as in car

Rear Panel

Movable? [looks like a boot—cool]
The specs provided are sufficient. He has not made a placement decision—it is his to make.
Ashley will post drawing from other perspectives so I can see where the flooring can be attached. He will try to make the floor flat where he can. The area to the front of the cross arm is open.
Whatever we use will attach to the cage.
Using the cage clamps, Ashley can mount fenders. The brackets are for a different steering setup.
I described a way of mounting the quad where standard seating works.
That is fine.
Maybe—also the cage. I may try one anyway.
Not movable. Also there will be an under level of protection, plus the floor.
