Your GravatarChange your Gravatar / Avatar
- Upload a new image from your computer
- Use your webcam to take a snapshot of yourself
- Give us a link to a picture online to use
- Use your last WordPress.com Avatar (if you had one)
After uploading your image, it will be automatically applied to your email address (jalexartis@aol.com) and may show up next to your posts and comments on WordPress.com and across the web. The change may take up to an hour to see, so please be patient.
Gravatar stands for Globally Recognized Avatar, which means it can be used all over the web attached to your email.
But wait! There’s more…
If you wish to use the advanced features of Gravatar.com you may click here to do so now!
Do as David, Dennis, Duncan, MJ, Terry, Zeke, and a few others have done and change it to a photo of yourself so readers can see the beautiful/dapper/handsome face that rendered the comments. I certainly like the pics. The WordPress instructions above tell you how. Doing so changes the graphic for all earlier comments.
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Jim
I have a gravatar but it doesn’t ever show up. Do I have to attach it somehow?
You are here. It is working now. It sometime takes the server a while to migrate the file. If there is a different username and email address a Gravatar has to be added fir that account as well. Thanks Dennis. –jim
