One of my readers pointed out another quad option—a 26” ATC Quad from Lightfoot Cycles. I had seen their 2-seater models [the Microcar & Duo], but not the ATC.
I prefer the styling of the Utah Trikes offering. Plus, I like their design work and I am committed to buying from a dealer that supports BROL and a dealer that I have had a relationship with for several years. Thanks Ashley [BROL member Moadib64] for all you do!

Thanks Jim, your manners in staying in touch certainly reaps rewards.
Last year Ashley came out with the TAD coversion to a QUAD which are delights. Mick at Greespeed announced Greenspeed were looking into a conversion for the Anura by adding 2 wheels up front. Also enticing! This ATC may give an idea of the future Anura.
I like it. Without yet having physical proof of riding one, I’m pretty sure the Ashley type TAD conversion is for me.. I posted a bit to BROL.
It is good to know all the options. Thus, my reason for posting. I am partial to Utah Trikes because of their support of BROL and their product. It wears better on me. I have ideas that fit their base much better. I read your BROL post. Thanks!
I wanted an all terrain quad useable on rocks, sand, streets, snow, whatever. Lots of suspension travel and ground clearance, wide gearing, big tires. Yes it does take more energy to pedal, but makes up for it in comfort and control. Instead of bouncing off rocks or displacing a lot of soil, we can tread lightly and have less impact on the environment.
The electric assist is just an option, and is small enough to be charged off a few PV panels.
Check out our stunts video and tell us if that doesn’t look like fun.
Very nice Greg. Indeed, it does look like fun. Here is another all-terrain quad. –jim
My son bought a Lightfoot brand motorized bicycle from a company in Austin, TX. The frame welding broke within a month and a half. The company refused to fix it. After paying nearly $800 for a bike, I expected better quality and service than this. I do not recommend you buy a Lightfoot brand bike from an Austin dealer.
