Today, I noted the posting of the new 2010 Quad from Utah Trikes Custom Shop. My quad will look something like this [below], with the mods by UTC & me. A Black Quad was #3 on my Special Requirements List. When I first discussed this build with Ashley, I was able to delete it as he told me about the ‘10 model. Please visit the Utah Trikes Site for more pictures.

Georgeous!
Silk, watch out, move over a bit.
You have such an eye for cycles. Is the Cruzbike still in the pipeling?
Like the recent posts on your BROL thread…people can be amazing and helpful.
Regarding chairs for the QUAD: what about getting two? The stock Terracycle is highly flexible. If nothing else it could lead up the learning curve as to your best position/ setting for the circumstances you ride. The hardback in the picture is one very nice seat.
The QUAD itself is going to be a purpose-flexible machine. So as you get to the door on your way to a ride, you choose your jersey and your seat….ha ha!
I have an Easy Racer “Kooback” that is modified to my shape and posture. It is even more adjustable than the ‘Terracycle. I have 4 select positions that it moves to depending where I’m riding.
Karen and me had a great Christmas Day. I’m sure you and yours did too.
I WANT MY QUAD!
Hi Terry,
Yes the Vendetta is still in; however, it remains under development. I have to tour first–thus the opportunity to quad [I just made quad a verb].
Indeed they [the folk at BROL] can be–THANKS BROL! OTOH, we have seen threads that are the polar opposites or the one you refer to.
There is only so much money for this project. I’m going to have a fairly extensive solar setup. After the tour, maybe I can dual or triple seat it. I’ve posted two question [awaiting moderation] on the UTC 2010 announcement: 1) lightest seat; & 2) most comfortable seat. On lightest, one must take into consideration the weight of the neck rest [if any]. I’m liking the look of the Performer Seat.
Glad your Christmas with Karen was delightful. We enjoyed ours also. I’m quad creating as I sit. I love building up cycles…
Take care.
Until…
Jim
