Here, we see how the wheels are driven through the Shimano Alfine mid-drive to the dual drive positraction axle. It is off the rotating axle, that I have asked Ashley, if my SON Hub can be driven. Of course, his answer is yes! I’ve asked that he do so in a way that allows electric power assist to be added, should I ever decide to do so, without having to reconfigure the setup.

Would like to know more about the SON hub but will take a quess anyway as how Ashley will arrange your needs.
He will attach an eigth inch sprocket to the disk bolts of the SON. He will arrange SON mounting, with disengaging release, so that the SON sprocket is driven by the eighth inch chain between the left sides of the ALFINE and the Differential????
I think you are on to something. I think right side of the positraction drive though.
Wow, that is very cool. I love the design. I think this would work very well in a shell Jim. You can use the SON to power your gadgets/lights/accessories while having a good gear range. I love how this is coming out.
Functional, isn’t it? I love building them up. I’ll get lots of miles on this one during the summer and years to follow. Thanks! –jim
