Yesterday [with patience and persistence] , I was able to get Windows XP Professional installed on my HP Pavilion dm3-1030us laptop. I was able to get 3 [it took a long time] of the 7 devices drivers working properly and one [sound] with an error. I could not locate the driver for the wireless network adapter.  In addition, the Creative Labs camera driver was not installing properly [actually, I had similar problems when I reinstalled W7 early this morning].

I concluded the P&P was causing a bloody head from my beating it against the wall. Therefore, I should stop the hemorrhaging and set up what should work—back to Windows 7; add another Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 [same type as camera #2 at my WrkSta]; and be finished with this! Now, that happened to be my original 4-camera plan, having decided the camera was not showing motion as I wanted. My goodness, that was November 28th!
