I’m suppose to be happy 19

I received my Goblin Cricket Tail Fairing today. It was shipped 07/30. As long as I have waited for its delivery, and with great anticipation and joy, I deserve to be happy. I’m not. My fairing was damaged in shipment. I’ve taken multiple photographs and uploaded them to my flickr account marked "Private." I have sent the Goblin Motors Proprietor an email with details and a guest pass to the photographs. I await his response.

I have not published details relating to the delayed delivery of the product I purchased 05/25. I think my expectations are reasonable—pay for a product, receive that product in tact, ready to work as described, and get delivery within to time period specified when "consideration" [business law term for money] was received.

The fairing looks good, except for the damages. There is paint damage and well as cracked and broken [not separated] fiberglass. I feel an obligation to report what is going on. I am not trying to malign Goblin Motors or its proprietor. I simply look for a resolution. Certainly, the carrier has a responsibility for damage. I wonder about the packing and the package marking.

Once, I’ve receive a reply, I then determine my subsequent actions.

Thanks!

Jim Artis

TrikeBldr [Bruce's] Report 3

The report we have been waiting for from Bruce [Trikebldr] on his interaction with Mr. Giraldo [now making hast to Marshfield, Missouri]. You are thorough and detailed in your reporting. THANKS Bruce!

Jim (and all),

Tour of Discovery - Day 57 068 First, I just want to say that these last three days have been an adventure for me, as well as inspirational to have met Rafael. It would take too much room to tell you all the background into his life that I have learned in this short time. Besides, it will all be in his book(s) that will come from this adventure, so I don’t want to spoil it for those who buy it.

Second, I just read the discussions on BROL this morning for the first time about Rafael’s journey, and I am quite flattered, and humbled by the comments made about me, BUT, I also want to point out that this all about Mr. Giraldo’s many facetted trek across our homeland, not about me and my brief "play day" with new friends! All of this was within a Tour of Discovery - Day 57 075 150 mile radius of home, and is what I would have been doing anyway, so it’s not a big deal to me! It IS a big deal for me to have met Rafael, however! And, thanks to everyone on BROL, the Catrike forum and the TrikeDoctor forum for all the kind words! Very humbling indeed! Oh, and Sierra says I behaved very well the whole three days!

This single photograph has garnered a lot of attention and praise [as well as the underlying concept of providing a degree of water resistance for an iPhone at little or no cost].

As of a few moments ago the picture to the left has 3,332 views on flickr. That’s tops for my uploads. After the break below, I’ve posted a table that shows the top all time pictures viewed from my account. Senergy works.

It was picked up by Gizmodo and featured in an article.

BROL announced the feature to its readers.

WordPress.com bestows Post of the Day honors on the post with the photo and story behind the picture. Interesting that the picture [along with 2 others] was a small part of the piece.

Humbled again. This blog was recognized by WordPress.com Blogs of the Day selection of Top Post for my Luv my iPhone, but what to do in the rain??? post which is ranked #67 of 100 posts so honored. The post moved quickly to the top of the All Time Viewed list.

Top10 list

The result of the many reads is that 08/02 and 08/30 set new blog records for most views in a single day with views of 1,972 and 2,074 respectively. The previous high was just over 1,500 views in a single day. That was during the RAAM reporting.

Thanks to my many readers for you continued support and to WP.com for the honor above.
