Using the same mount the I used on my RANS Citi Crank Forward [Faye], the pictures above show my iPhone on my Trek Project One Diamond Frame [DF] Bicycle. Like the Garmin Edge 305, the iPhone is also easily moved from cycle-to-cycle, relative to the mount used. In this case, a Semsons.com handlebar mount modified to work as a stem mount.

hi
i’m interested in the same setup but I noticed on semson’s website that this fits handlebars up to 1″ in diameter…that’s only 2.4mm.
my carbon bars are 31.8mm. any ideas on what i might use to fit these bars?
in fact, i don’t understand how they fit your trek at all. those bars you have are 27.0mm–still over 1″.
thanks
Fred
Hi Fred,
Exactly. That is why I modified to the mount to work as a stem mount. You can also place the mount on the handlebar if you choose. I use a clamp [Cateye for me] that fit my stem. I then removed 1/2 of the light mounting arm [elbow] so that I have a one-hole arm to place the long bolt from the Semsons.com mount. I used my heat gun to remove it. I could have gotten another bolt from a hardware store, but choose not to. I used a nut on top to lock the bolt to the arm. I then reassembled the Semsons.com mount. The result is what you see in the picture. I hope this helps. –jim
