Silk still sits [waiting for her tail fairing] Reply

July 14, 2009, I learned of delays in the shipment of my Goblin Cricket Tail Fairing, thus this article on the 15th.

Now, I’m hoping next week; but, I’ve said that many times. Please, let me be wrong this time…

My hope was…

Well, that did not happen!

As a matter of fact, I heard nothing until I made contact this evening. Then, I learned the fairing is at the paint shop being re-painted. I was further informed that I will get an update on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, because Mr. Bales will be away until Tuesday. So, I still await the fairing I ordered and paid for May 25, 2009. It has been a lot longer than the 2 weeks shown on the Goblin Cricket Web Site. I have spared you the details on this problem. I am trying to be professional and still hope this will be a case that “all’s well that ends well.”

I have run a business. I certainly made every effort to keep my customers informed when I was unable to meet a schedule we had agreed upon or there was a problem. I am disappointed that Mr. Bales is responding to my request for answers rather than heading off my questions by giving me information. I hope and pray that my next post on this tail fairing will be with it in my hands.

Mr. Giraldo is taking tonight off. He is in Pueblo, Colorado enjoying a night with new friends. Bob Fredregill pulled Rafael off the road just before a thunderstorm. Rafael is now in our home enjoying good food and good company. It is definitely the Fredregill’s treat. More tomorrow after Rafael has enjoyed a pleasant night’s sleep between real sheets.

Again, Rafael is the beneficiary of kind humanity. We trust he rested well, will retrieve the items shipped for San Francisco, get more rest, do his computing, and prepare for the next leg of his journey. The best to you sir.

Bob, thanks for posting your message to his guest book.
