If SPOT gave us the correct camp site for Mr. Giraldo, then the distances below are the approximate distances he will trike to arrive at his destination of choice: [B=Boulder; C=Torrey; D=Fruita; & E=Caineville]. Remember, tomorrow is the 4th of July [American Holiday—Independance Day] and may influence his choice of locations to stop. We are also anticipating a rest day soon.

Notes from Terry:

He starts with 27 miles, 5500 feet of climbing to a “summit”.
After that its generally down but with undulations.
Torrey is 51 miles.
There is a National Park Campground at Fruita 63 miles.
Caineville is 80 miles.
I haven’t checked the towns for services but the Campground at Fruita looks like my choice.
