Where might Mr. Giraldo trike on Day20 Reply
![]()
…maybe he’ll post his intentions here [BROL Forum] or his site. So far, I see no destination plans beyond Baker, Nevada; but, lucky [I guess] for him, SPOT shows activity at 7:02 a.m. PDT.
Those were my thoughts early this morning relating to Mr. Giraldo’s cycling day.
He crossed the Utah border just before 8:15 a.m. PDT and is now in the Mountain Time Zone. As shown on the map above, his last SPOT [Password="Student"] location [Point A] he is just under 10 miles from Wah Wah Summit [Point B] and 32 more miles to Milford, Utah [Point C].

Jason Winn, upper right, is the rider who was injured. Earlier, I published a RAAM blog article and my comments. Sorry they are out of the race.

Yesterday, Team Surfing U.S.A. DNF [Did Not Finish] due to a crash. They were leading in the 4-Person Division, until passed by Team RANS around TS13. They remained in 2nd until their crash. It may have been them who could have given Team RANS a challenge as the teams crossed the Appalachian Mountains. We will never know. The best to Jason and his team members. This is a RAAM blog publication. [An online site with more information] [BROL Thread]

Time Station 36 Forecast [Effingham, Illinois]
They were due in at 12:55 a.m. and are reported in as 12:47 @ the Effingham TS. We wonder what happened in reporting of their arrival. Well, the team is well and is still riding. TS37 also cleared.
Team RANS received a 15 minute penalty for not calling in their time station time within 30 minutes of passing the time station. Now we know what happened. Making the call is a crew responsibility. Okay, we must stay alert as we close in on Annapolis, Maryland. The best…
