Yesterday, I posted an article on a Pileated Woodpecker [that was disturbing me and destroying my house and my neighbor's house]. My friend Zeke mentioned in a comment that he has a pair near him and that he likes their call. Well, just the opportunity for me to get busy and research the Pileated Woodpecker more that I did yesterday. They do have a nice call and look great in the wild. Actually, I’m delighted to have had the opportunity to see one “up-close-and-personal” and to have captured my very own photographs.
