Hellyer Park Velodrome is Northern California’s premier bicycle racing venue. Spectators can expect world class high stakes professional racing. Hellyer Velodrome also offers all ages beginner classes for fun and fitness. The trike race [8 laps, trikes only] is the 5th event of the day.

a_noseupperleftThe unknown, that is how will the next version of the Goblin “Tunnel Vision” Front Fairing look? We know how Jeff’s current version, the prototype he’ll race 05/30, looks.

A larger fairing will be based upon the current model having the vision tunnel, but will extend farther back at the top and sides to be even more aero. That fairing will lend itself to having a sport/sun roof attached as an option. A larger fairing will weigh more, but increase speed and make it more like a velomobile.

We know he plans to extend the length of that version to create one that can be used with a roof, but maybe not like the concept drawing above, which he says he may do later. My current leaning is toward his next version [the one described in the quote to the left taken from the Catrike Board]. I hope it is available in June.
