Well, here is Jeff’s prototype fairing, which he says is 95% complete. He’ll race with it this weekend at the Hellyer Velodrome in San Jose , California. Of course, his trike will also be outfitted with his GoblinCricket Tail Fairing. He should have some impressive results. I wish him the best in racing and will be trying to get all I can via the Internet.
Now, I’m anxious to see the production model. The prototype looks different than Jeff’s concept rendering where the front fairing is much closer to the front wheel. In addition, he used a polycarbonate at the top for increased visibility.
Jeff has many more pictures at his web site [near the bottom of the page]. Without more information and from the pictures I’ve seen, I’m wondering about road visibility, particularly for commuting. I have not seen comments on this fairing yet.
Jeff has listed it for $595, plus shipping [although his initial post does not comment on shipping]. Again, seeing the production model will be good.
