Faye gets her real wheels!!! 1

Faye, w/her temp wheels I‘ve been using spare 26″ wheels to help me with positioning and installing various items in my build-up of my RANS Citi Crank Forward. Wednesday, 04/15, components for her wheels began to arrive. Thursday, 04/16, I posted White Industries components received by my LBS.

You’ve seen her hubs. The rear hub an eccentric ENO line of hubs allows me to make this bike a single speed/fixie. Rear & front hubs

YES! Faye has her real wheels!

Here is a picture of one of her rims. Friday, 04/17, her spokes were scheduled to arrive and then I hope the wheel building begins. If it does, I’ll pick up the wheels, take a few pictures, shod then with the Bontrager Cruizer Tires I purchased earlier, and take more pictures.  No wheel Friday, 04/17 or Saturday, 04/18.  In fact, no wheel until Thursday, April 23, 2009. I think they look swell.  I have a few adjustments to make. The bike is scheduled to go to my LBS Saturday, 04/25 for final build. I hope to have her back Monday. Sun CR-18 Rim
