Sans derailleur hanger 2

Build-up, Step TwoRemember this. Well, a derailleur will never hang from it. See the two photographs below. I removed the hanger part and finished it so that one would never know its original purpose. Rather than use heat-shrink tubing as I did with the prototype to the left, I’ll have it powder coated satin-black as I did with the fork and handlebar. The White Industries eccentric ENO hub will also be black, with black spokes & silver nipples for the wheels–black eyeletted rims, with machined sidewalls. The wheel you see is temporary, allowing me to confirm several setup locations.

I am very please with the results of this modification.
